The pattern in English is now available in 4 sizes:
Women's XS, Small, Medium, Large

Well suited for an intermediate knitter - you are not required to have prior experience with the vertical drop stitch pattern.

It is a seamless construction knitted from the bottom up in the round to the armholes. From the armholes and up it is worked in rows. The shoulders are bound together with a 3-needle bind off.
The armholes and the neckline are finished while the top is worked with decreases and sloped bind off (also not necessary to have prior experience).

The pattern provides written step by step instructions.

Shown in BC Garn, Lino, color Ln33 (Natural) and color LN65 (Black) a plant fiber yarn consisting of 100% Linen (Flax). The BC Garn mill started in the 70s as a small family owned business in Denmark, Scandinavia and until recently it was owned and run by the same family. It has changed hands in the last couple of years and it looks like we are going to see some exciting new colors and yarns from this mill. I love working with the Lino yarn. It has beautiful drape and becomes softer with each use, with each wash and dry cycle. Flax is one of the most durable plant fibers that exist and if you treat your knitted garment right it will last a lifetime.

You will need 5 skeins of yarn to knit the top shown. There will be enough yarn to make the top a couple of inches longer is you prefer.

The finished garment is going to drape well, breathe well, absorb moisture well - Personally I throw mine in the washing machine and in the dryer - I like the way it becomes softer every time it is cleaned and dried. Besides, I live in the South East of the USA and it is very hot and humid here so I need to clean the garment often. The yarn label recommends hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
